March 3, 1947: Jennifer Jean Warnes born, one
minute after midnight, in Seattle, Washington.
1956
Makes professional debut at age nine, wrapped in U.S. flag, singing
"The Star Spangled Banner" accompanied by 300 accordions,
at LA's Shrine Auditorium.
1961
Becomes member of Actors Equity; appears in local Civic Light Opera
productions.
1966
Offered an opera scholarship to Immaculate Heart College.
1967
Begins touring folk circuit as one half of Roman II, a duo formed
with singer Doug Rowell.
1968
Signs deal with Parrot Records, a Decca Records label.
Records duets with Mason Williams, "Cinderella-Rockefella"
and "The Last Great Waltz," for his album The Mason
Williams Ear Show.
...I Can Remember Everything LP released.
As Jennifer Warren, joins cast of The Smothers
Brothers Comedy Hour. Jennifer's debut episode, singing
"Santa Monica Pier" and "Time is on the Run"
with Donovan, is nominated for an Emmy award. Because of a musicians'
strike, all musical numbers in this episode are performed a capella.
Stars as Sheila in the West Coast production
of Hair at LA's Aquarius Theater.

1969
"Easy to Be Hard" single released; peaks on Billboard

On September 19, makes acting debut on NBC-TV's The Bold Ones:
The New Doctors. Jennifer stars in an episode titled "Broken
Melody" about a singer who's going deaf.
Signs with Reprise Records.
1972
Jennifer LP released.
"In the Morning" from Jennifer
is included on Middle of the Road, a promotional record in
Reprise's "Loss Leaders" series. Liner notes include a
biography of Jennifer.
"These Days" single released.
Tours Europe with Cohen's band as back-up singer.
Performs at LA's renowned The Troubador with
Randy Newman.
Appears in Bird on a Wire, a documentary
film about Cohen.
Records guest vocals for Cohen's Live Songs
album.
1977
Signs with Arista Records.
"Right Time of the Night" single
